"But Who do you say I am?"It was a question Jesus asked his disciples one day. Curious of what others thought of him, he asked, "Who do people say I am?" The disciples one by one answered, "John the Baptist, Elijah, or some kind of prophet." I am sure Jesus paused and then asked, "But who do you say I am?" The responses weren't as quick but eventually Peter spoke up and said, "You are the Christ."
This story asks us an important question. It is a question each of us have to answer for ourselves. Look at the picture on the left. Study it, look beyond the painting and find yourself hidden inside. uestion to is simple: Who is Jesus to you?

This is an old bible study, but I've really thought about it lately. Who do you say Jesus is? Well, to me Jesus is his foot on the snake in that picture. He is the foot in many ways. As he is doing in the picture, stepping on the snake, he overcomes evil. Evil fills us at times and sometimes we need to lean toward God for help and guidance to get out of it and helps us to overcome evil ourselves. Also, he is the foot for guidance. People lead with their feet in physical terms, but I am talking about spiritually and emotionally. He guides us to make right choices, he guides us to find our calling, he guides us to help others, he guides us to do and be so many things. So, the answer to this question for me is, the foot.
